Happy 2009

Wow, 2008 flew by so fast. It was an especially busy year for me...2 of my children were married. My daughter Leah married Jaime Jarrin in July.

And my yougest son Will married Lachele Wood in December. I hope to have a picture of them soon.

2008 was full of quilting and traveling, 2 things we love to do. I ran in my 2nd Marine Corps Marathon along with my husband Bob, my sisters Rita McKinney, and Tess Gannon and Tess's husband Rich. It was an emotional time for Rich as this was his first Marine Marathon and we all run to honor his son Rick who was killed in Iraq. We all hope to run again this October 2009.

We have been quilting a lot and had a very busy "Christmas rush" of quilts, now that we are well into Jan. we can take a breath and reorganize for 2009.

We are planning a trip to Quilt Market in May, so we hope to bring back lots of new fabrics and patterns...so stay tuned!
